There’s been a lot of talk lately about “The Cloud” and how it’s going to fundamentally change operating systems, and specifcally, the way we manage our information. With the anouncement of Google’s Chrome OS, this does seem to be a fair assumption, although the time to reach any significant saturation point is, I would guess, at least 5 or 6 years away.

In my ongoing quest to try out all the Task / Project Management software-as-a-service applications out there, I recently signed up for a free account at Producteev.  I first heard about this app late last year when a friend of mine recommended it as a sold alternative to Basecamp. Whoa, easy there big fella. I’ve used Basecamp extensively over the years on various projects, both my own and in collaboration with others, and have yet to find something that really compares with its ease of use and overall scope.
